Settha Community Guidelines

Last updated: September 22, 2026

These guidelines explain what may and may not be published on Settha. They cover everything people create in the app: reviews, chat messages, reports, profile photos, and the tours, photos and videos that agencies publish.

1

Who they apply to

Accepting Settha’s Terms and Conditions means accepting these guidelines. They apply to: • Travelers: reviews, ratings, messages to agencies, reports and profile photo. • Agencies and guides: tours, descriptions, photos, videos, messages to travelers and public profile. Settha may remove content and suspend accounts that break these guidelines.

2

Content and behavior we do not allow

You may not post, send or share: • Sexually explicit content, and above all any child sexual abuse or exploitation material. There is no tolerance for it: we remove the content, close the account and report it to the authorities. • Violence, threats, incitement to violence, or content celebrating harm to people or animals. • Harassment, intimidation or humiliation of another person, including an agency’s staff or a traveler. • Hate speech or discrimination based on race, origin, nationality, religion, disability, age, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation. • Content promoting suicide, self-harm or eating disorders. • Illegal activity: selling drugs, weapons, protected wildlife or plants, forged documents, or services Colombian law forbids. • Scams and fraud: payments taken off the platform to avoid it, misleading charges, spoofed payment methods or phishing. • Spam: repeated content, unsolicited advertising, or links to services unrelated to the app. • Fake reviews: reviews of tours you did not take, reviews an agency writes about itself or commissions, and any incentive offered in exchange for a review. • Impersonation: passing yourself off as another person, another agency or as Settha. • Other people’s personal data without their permission: documents, phone numbers, addresses, or photos of identifiable people who did not consent. • Copyrighted material you have no right to use, including background music in videos. • Misleading tour information: prices, itinerary, duration, safety conditions or permits that do not match reality.

3

Traveler reviews and messages

• Write about your own experience on a tour you actually took. • Be clear and respectful: hard criticism is welcome, an insult is not. • Leave out personal data, yours or anyone else’s (documents, phone numbers, addresses). • Use chat to arrange the tour, not to pester, harass or advertise. Remember that your name and profile photo are shown next to the reviews you publish.

4

Agency tours, photos and videos

• Publish only material you own or have the rights to, including the music in videos. • Describe the tour as it is: route, duration, meeting point, what is and is not included, and the real price. • Do not publish tours you cannot run, or dates you will not honor. • Operate under Colombian tourism law, including the Registro Nacional de Turismo where it applies. • Treat travelers respectfully in chat, including after a negative review.

5

How to report content

In the app you can report: • A tour, from the tour menu. • A review, from the review menu. • A profile, or the account you are chatting with, from the profile or chat menu. Pick the reason that best describes the problem and add details if you can. We review every report and, where warranted, remove the content and act on the account. If it is an emergency or a crime in progress, contact the authorities as well.

6

Blocking an account

You can block an account from the chat, from its profile, or from one of its reviews. Once blocked: that account cannot message you, you stop seeing its tours and reviews, and the conversation leaves your list. The blocked account is told that it can no longer write to you, so it can use another channel if you have a booking in progress. You can undo this in Settings, under Blocked accounts.

7

What happens when someone breaks the rules

Depending on severity and repetition, we may: • Remove the content. • Warn the account. • Suspend tour publishing or chat access. • Close the account. • Report the case to the authorities where the law requires it. Accounts that break these rules repeatedly, or that post child sexual abuse material, are closed permanently.

8

If you disagree

If we remove your content or restrict your account and you believe it was a mistake, write to [email protected] explaining the case. We review the decision and reply.
